Terms
From TERMS.md in the MailCraft repository, commit 3126a06.
MailCraft is free, open-source software. These are its terms in plain words; the licences themselves are what binds.
Licence
MailCraft is dual-licensed under the MIT License or the Apache License, Version 2.0, at your option. You may use it, copy it, change it and pass it on under either. Fonts and other third-party material in it keep their own open licences, listed in NOTICE and ATTRIBUTION.md.
No warranty
The program is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, as both licences say. It is early software: keep copies of anything you cannot afford to lose, and do not rely on it alone for mail or appointments that matter.
Your accounts and your organisation
You use MailCraft with accounts you are entitled to use. A work or school account is subject to your organisation’s rules: its administrators decide which programs may connect, and may have to approve MailCraft before it can sign in. Your mail provider’s own terms apply to your use of its service.
No service
The project provides a program, not a service. It stores none of your data and has no access to your mailbox; see the privacy statement.
Names
MailCraft is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Microsoft. Microsoft, Outlook, Exchange and Microsoft 365 are trademarks of the Microsoft group of companies, used here only to say what MailCraft works with.
