Getting started

MailCraft is a mail, calendar, contacts and tasks program with the layout of classic Outlook: the ribbon, the folder pane, the message list and the reading pane.

Alpha

MailCraft is Alpha. Try it, but keep using your current mail program for mail you can’t afford to lose.

Install it

1. Download MailCraft for your computer.
2. Open the file. Builds aren’t signed yet, so Windows or macOS will ask before running it.
   • Windows: if SmartScreen says it protected your PC, choose More info, then Run anyway.
   • macOS: if it says the app can’t be checked, open System Settings › Privacy & Security and choose Open Anyway.
3. Open MailCraft. It asks you to add an account.

Add your account

Type your email address and choose Connect. MailCraft works out your mail servers and how you sign in.

• Microsoft 365, Outlook.com or Hotmail
• Other providers, using IMAP

To look around first, choose This device only: you get an empty mailbox that isn’t connected to anything.
